Happy New Year to all!
Well folks, here we are. Like the terrible main character in Julie & Julia (you know which one), I’ve foolishly jumped into the world of blogging with no plan and nothing to say.
I am excited about this newsletter, though — and I hope you are too! I’m always looking for ways to share my comic with people in ways that don’t involve maneuvering a social media algorithm like some finicky child that cries and cries instead of just telling you exactly what they need.
(I’m not a baby person, in case that wasn’t clear.)
Have ideas? Suggestions? Get in touch — I’d love to hear from you! Anyways, here’s this week’s comics:

Is this anyone else’s pet peeve? No? Just mine? Alright then.
Three of the four comics this week were drawn months ago but never posted. I was hoping to kind of just slip them in during the last week of the year while no one was paying attention.
Shhhhhhhhh, no one tell.
Pool Party
Another oldie, but at least this one is kind of cute.

Why do bad speech bubbles happen to good comics?
I’ve been sharing stuff on Reddit lately, and I see in a lot of webcomics that would otherwise be enjoyable to read but use these humongous, clunky speech bubbles with Arial text.
Don’t do it, I beg of you! At least use Calibri!!
Like a Flower
This was one of the first comics I ever finished — and it was terrible. I redid the entire first and third panels (and the text) so that it would actually be worth sharing. Remember kids, all your old art is bad and you should be ashamed of it.
The original will be going in the incinerator.
And that’s it for my first newsletter! How’d I do? Was it everything you dreamed it would be? Send me a note and let me know!
Otherwise, see you next Sunday ♥
A few faves: Disappointing Affirmations, Jennscomics, and Nicole Tersigni.

Daily obsession: I think it could be beef!
Comment of the week: “The second I saw this I actually projectile vomited”
