And we thought George Santos would be the most embarrassing thing to happen to the GOP this week! Only the Republicans could turn winning the House into an absolute shitshow at every turn. As I write this, they’ve finally succeeded in electing Kevin after 14 hits of pure dopamine — sorry, *unsuccessful ballots.

It’s gotta feel at this point like no one picked you for the kickball team until the teacher forced them to. What an embarrassing way to make history!

If any GOP congresspeople are reading this (seems likely), you can always just end your misery by not being a Republican anymore! Why not give it a shot at this point? What have you got to lose?
